Terms of use

Draft: this text describes what EPUBLab does today and is pending legal review.

EPUBLab converts PDFs you have the right to use into EPUB files, with a free sample before any payment. No conversion is guaranteed to be perfect, and failed conversions never use your pages.

Updated:

The service

  • You may only upload files you have the right to convert.
  • Every file gets a free sample. Full conversions use pages from your plan's monthly allowance.
  • We show the problems we detect as warnings. We don't promise a perfect conversion.

Plans and payments

  • Paid plans renew monthly through Stripe until you cancel.
  • You can cancel from your account; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
  • Unused pages don't roll over. A failed or retried conversion doesn't use pages.

Your files

  • Your files stay yours. We process them only to convert them, and delete them automatically: the EPUB 1 hour after your first download or 24 hours after it's ready, the original PDF once the whole book is converted or 2 hours after its last conversion.
